About Britt

Ever since I was 4 years old, singing all the words to Shania Twain's Any Man of Mine, music has been my world. I became one of those fans that would listen to music not just because I liked the beat or the way it sounded; I listened to music because of the lyrics and story behind the song. When I find a song that I connect to, I begin listening to more songs from that artist and learning about that artist's background and story.

I've been given this talent where I can listen to an album and pick the songs the artist will release as singles that I think have the potential to make it to the top of the charts. Any time that my friends need new music to listen to, they will ask me for suggestions on what they should hear.

My love for music deepened when I attended my first concert (Toby Keith in 2004). Ever since graduating college, I've become somewhat of a concert junkie by attending between 30 and 50 concerts a year. There is something about seeing an artist perform their music live. I think it's the joy on their face when they hear the words to their songs sung back to them.

This love for music has led me to form many friendships among other concert junkies. It also brought me to witness and experience the country's worst mass shooting in Las Vegas during the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival. I'm eternally grateful that my friends and I made it out of there alive and without life threatening injuries. While what I experienced was something I never would've imagined myself going through, it has led me to pursue this blog journey and the desire to share my music knowledge and experiences with others. My hope is that my recommendations of artists and their music on this blog will lead to a larger fan base for these artists and success with their music careers.

I hope you enjoy this blog and the experiences I share. I'd love for you to subscribe and also follow my journey and random life highlights on my Instagram, @xbrittchristine.

Have something I should be listening to?
